Le processus de r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration permet de ramener le gaz \u00e0 un niveau de qualit\u00e9 \u00e9quivalent au nouveau gaz. <br>\r\nSur le plan environnemental, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rer le gaz SF6 plut\u00f4t que de l\u2019\u00e9liminer, car cela \u00e9vite de cr\u00e9er du nouveau gaz qui devra \u00eatre \u00e9limin\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019avenir.
